Sung in a very low, Johnny Cash-like voice; seemed to be about
a man and his father out for a drive, or riding a horse, or
something like that. Later we discover that the father is dead.
I had a good time, despite the chattery people who hooted and
hoisted their beers when Robyn started "Balloon Man." The show
was roughly 70 minutes long--not bad, all things considered. I
enjoyed the last tour's MN stop more; a more comfortable venue
and a less restricting time schedule.
Robyn wore a purple shirt with a black vest throughout the show.
He was reasonably talkative between songs, though at the moment I
can't remember anything he said. :-P Must be all those hardcore
drugs I'm into. Hmmm...a lot of people shouting for "Clean Steve."
And Deni's mic stand tried to crush her violin. I have no idea
if anyone taped this show.
Not having any good way to end the message, I left suddenly.
